Torrance Dwayne TaylorMarch 9, 1967 ~ December 2, 2017 (age 50)
TORRANCE DWAYNE TAYLOR better known as (TEE) by his family and friends, was born March 9, 1967 in Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. To the proud parent of Charmaine D. Taylor (Melchizedek). On Saturday, December 2, 2017 the Lord saw fit to give a worthy man his reward from his hard works and labor. So he gently whispered to “TEE” at the M.D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX that is was time for him to take his rest.
Torrance was a God fearing man, who exemplified the ordinance of God and family. He was known to make others laugh and give an encouraging word. Even in his turmoil with cancer he remained funny, encouraging to others, strong in his faith, and trusting in God’s will.
Torrance attended Elementary School in Oakland, California; Middle School in Augsburg, Germany; High School in Killeen, Texas, and later graduated from Pemberton Township High School in New Jersey with the class of 1985. There in high school he played football and ran track; setting a few local and state records.
Torrance attended college while in the Army Reserve and while on Active Duty. During his active military time, he served in Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, Afghanistan, and a tour in Germany. Torrance retired from the military at Fort Bragg in North Carolina after serving a total of 22 years.
Those left to cherish his loving and profound memories is the apple of his eye , his loving and devoted wife, Patrice Taylor of 14 years, Brianna and Trinity Taylor in the home . His loving mother Charmine, fond Uncle Nathaniel (Lemelle) Taylor and Ali Da Bey (Uncle Pee Wee) ; his devoted children Lakisha (Michael) Uzzell, ZarTavia S. (Eddie) Elbert ,Nathaniel III Taylor, his amazing grandkids: Ceriae Smith, Cristin Ware, Myiesha Smith, Jaevion M Felton, Zolae A Elbert, his loving sister Sherria Melette, he also leaves to cherish his profound memories his loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends and will always be remembered as our hero.
